About Shun Hing College

Dr. David Mong, chairman and CEO of Shun Hing Group, and Dr. Yoshiko Nakano speak with the 2018 cohort on the history of Shun Hing Group during a lecture at Shun Hing College.

Inaugurated in 2015, Shun Hing College is established by the Shun Hing Education and Charity Fund, a long-term partner of HKU for over three decades. During the academic year, Shun Hing College is home to undergraduate and postgraduate students from around the world, Mainland China, and Hong Kong, and hosts intellectually and culturally diversified learning communities.

The Shun Hing Education and Charity Fund was established by Dr. William Mong in 1984, the late chairman of Shun Hing Group, the distributor of Panasonic products (previously National and Technics) in Hong Kong. It is led by Dr. David Mong, chairman and CEO of Shun Hing Group.
